Priscah is a happy child despite her childhood circumstances. Her father is deceased and abandoned by her mother, she lives with her aging grandparents who are too old to work and only live on a small pension equivalent to 20 US dollars to take care of themselves and Priscah. With so little to live on, her grandparents are struggling to pay for her education.
